Regional clubs provide local engagement opportunities for alumni, wherever they live around the globe. As ambassadors for the University, Brown Alumni Association and alumni, volunteers collaborate with members of the Brown community and serve the University in myriad ways, including championing Brown’s mission, encouraging and fostering inclusive peer and community engagement, and building long-term relationships with other alumni, parents, and friends. Brown University relies on our committed volunteers to provide a model of leadership to peer alumni, parents, and friends, and to work in partnership with staff to achieve the University’s goals.

Board management
You will find here, sample timeline(s) for the recruitment process. This includes email templates, submission form for accepting nominations and types of board roles. For onboarding you will find a PowerPoint template to utilize for your meetings, a "Brown University & Us" PowerPoint built by us for you to download, edit and use in an onboarding board retreat on your own and some recommendations on a retreat agenda and some basics to update your information with brown as a volunteer.
